Shariah Stock Screening
1) The objective of shariah stock screening is to identify which stock
in stock exchange are shariah compliant and shariah non-compliant.
2) From shariah stock screening, stock brokers can identified which
stock are shariah compliant and shariah non-compliant, thus will avoiding them
from invest in shariah non-compliant stock.
3) The obligation on having
a Shariah stock screening is derived from the Shariah principle that Muslims
should not take part in an activity that forbidden in Islam. Nowadays, there
are various screening methodology developed and approved by the renowned
